The art in Antioquia and the Seventies was the exhibition with which the Museum of Modern Art of Medellín, MAMM, inaugurated its first headquarters in the Carlos E. Restrepo neighborhood on April 22, 1980.1 The exhibition was intended to be not only a panoramic of the artistic production of the decade just finished but, mainly, the count of the art in Antioquia during century XX and the affirmation of the importance of that decade -the seventy- like a partaguas in the history of the art antioqueño.
